Kakashi is a very beautiful boy with stunning, icy blue eyes. He is quite a large dog, weighing around 72 pounds! Like most Huskies, Kakashi is active, independent and friendly. He is a sweet boy that likes to do his own thing. Huskies are known to be more aloof, and not super demanding of your time and attention. Kakashi can be very chatty and will "sing" for you throughout the day!
Kakashi needs an experienced Husky owner who understands the Husky personality, as well as the regular grooming that comes with it. Typical to the breed, Kakashi can be a little stubborn at times, but he is very treat-motivated when it comes to training. He walks pretty well on a leash too.
Kakashi's has a high prey drive and cannot be in a home with cats or other small animals. A secure, fenced yard would be ideal for Kakashi. Kakashi enjoys the companionship of another dog, if it is the right dog. He would love to meet your dog and see if they click!
**REDUCED ADOPTION FEE: $50** ----- My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue
Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
