Meet Maverick!
This petite boy came to us as a stray in April 2024 along with his siblings. After spending some time in a foster home getting happy and friendly, Maverick is ready to find his forever home!
Maverick is the most easy-going of his siblings and is happy if he has a buddy to cuddle with and a comfy bed to curl up in! Maverick is not picky about the types of toys he plays with and has a blast playing with just about anything. Maverick is a climbing extraordinaire and always finds the most comfortable spots in the shelter cat trees!
Maverick loves having a feline friend to keep him company and loves people of all ages if they are willing to give him pets and love!
Maverick is waiting to find a home that he can call his very own! If you think your home is that home then stop by and meet Maverick today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
