Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I'm Lola, a 6-month-old German Shepherd and Husky mix, and I can't wait to meet you. I'm already house trained and crate trained, though I'm just as happy without a crate if that's what you prefer.
I get along well with other laid-back, friendly dogs, although I might need a little time to warm up to more dominant or energetic ones. I value my personal space and might show my teeth or growl if another dog gets too close, but I never lunge or attack. I love having my human all to myself when I sleep, but I enjoy playing with other dogs once I'm comfortable.
I haven't spent much time around kids, but I think I would do well with older children who understand the need for a calm environment. Younger, more energetic kids might be a bit too much for me.
One of my best qualities is my impeccable leash manners. I walk perfectly on a loose leash and never pull, although I can get a bit distracted by squirrels, bunnies, or other dogs. These distractions are easily managed with gentle corrections. I absolutely love going on walks and exploring the world with my person.
I'm incredibly sweet and loving, and I adore snuggling up next to you with a toy or treat. I sleep through the night, preferably sharing the bed with you. I'm always thrilled to see you, and my happy, inquisitive nature means I'll likely be easy to train.
I do experience some separation anxiety and prefer to follow my person from room to room, but I don't cry or scream when left alone. I have a strong preference for the company of women and female dogs, feeling most comfortable and happy around them. I'm a bit wary of men, but I'm fine in a calm, gentle environment.
With my heart-melting eyes and adorable puppy face, I'm looking for a loving home where I can be cherished. I'm curious about cats but haven't interacted with them directly, so you might need to supervise our initial introductions if you have feline friends.
I'm the perfect blend of sweet, playful, and loyal, and I'm ready to bring endless love and joy into my forever home!
