Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I'm so proud! I passed my interview with flying colors, and I am now welcome to attend day or overnight care at Camp BowWow! My name is Xolo (pronounced Zolo), I'm almost 2 years old and weigh 78 lbs. Guesses are that my breed is Catahoula mix, but who knows? I'm looking for a family with room in their lives and home for a big boy. My foster dad says I'm a goofball, but I think I just like to have fun. The good thing is I have all the cool skills down. I am crate trained when my foster family is gone, I know to do my business outside and I sleep well through the night in their room. I would prefer to sleep on the bed with them, but so far they haven't been willing to let me up there. I'll keep trying. I walk pretty well on a leash, but I am strong so I'll need my new people to help me continue to learn to walk nicely by their side.
If my new home has another dog, a nice female dog friend would be preferred. I would also do just fine as an only dog. I sometimes have a rowdy play style, but I just need to be reminded to settle down. At the end of the day, I am incredibly loving, surprisingly gentle, and I will become your true best friend. I need the right home to accommodate a dog with a booty and personality of my size. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
