My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Atlas and I am so happy to meet you! I am hoping that with my friendly and outgoing personality I will be able to find a new home soon. I originally came to the shelter with a nice deputy from Animal Control. I was never claimed by my family and then I was adopted by a very kind lady. We had a great time and she loved me a lot! Problem was she was an older person and with me being a young and active dog, I was a little too much for her. Her daughter brought me in so I could find an active family to grow up with. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am what they call a "teenage" puppy so look out for lots of fun and activity if you adopt me!!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
