Hello world!!! My name is Katie and I am a 3 year old 22 lb chocolate and white cocker girl in search of my forever home. I came from a rural central Florida shelter that found me wandering the lonely streets at night. Thankfully the shelter reached out to FCCR for immediate placement since they felt the shelter would be too noisy for me considering my emotional trauma of abandonment and loss----wheeew I am soooo glad they did that! Now I am in a nice and cozy foster home, and foster mommy and foster pawsister are lavishing lots of attention on me so I am not nervous or anxious anymore.....I am part of a family !!!! In the next couple of weeks once my "decompression time" and my milk dries ( it looks like I had puppies which were taken away from me PRIOR to being picked up by the shelter) is over I will be getting spayed and my cherry eye will be surgically repaired...and hopefully I will have an adopter waiting for me that will give me that loving and forever home I long for. If you think that is you please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE $400.00

More about this rescue
Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.
FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
