My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Snow, and I'm an 8-month-old husky weighing in at 40 pounds. I’ve recently learned the ropes of being housebroken and have gone a whole week without any accidents! I still need to go out every 2-3 hours, but I can hold it through the night like a champ. When I came to my current home on June 3rd, I didn't know anything about potty training, but now I'm a pro.

I'm also crate-trained and feel comfortable eating my meals in there. Sometimes I whine a bit in the crate, but it's because I was kept there overnight during my first week of potty training. I love playing with other dogs and running around with them. Although I'm very submissive and might get a little scared around new or dominant dogs, I'm never reactive. I adore people and am extremely affectionate, especially if you invite me for cuddles. I'm friendly with kids too—I’ve met a few while walking around the neighborhood, and I love getting pets from them.

One thing to know about me is that I have a high prey drive and will try to chase rabbits, squirrels, and other small animals, so I probably wouldn't do well in a home with cats or other small pets.

My three best qualities are that I listen very well and respond to my name, get along wonderfully with all people and dogs, and am incredibly loving and affectionate.

I need to work on a couple of things, like getting really excited in the car and I love to dig, so if you take your eyes off me for a few minutes in the backyard, I might start digging a hole. Also, since I am still a puppy, I have the occasional accident.

Overall, I'm honestly the perfect husky. I’m strikingly beautiful, well-behaved, and don’t bark much. I respect all other dogs and people, and only cuddle or jump on you when invited. I’m always happy, and excited to play and get attention, but not overly needy. I love chewing on large bones and can do so for hours without disturbing anyone. With about an hour of walks or park time each day, I’m extremely well-behaved.
