Rodeo A425449

Located At: Sonoma County Animal Services

Description: I am a neutered male, gray and white American Bulldog mix.

Age: I am estimated to be about 1 year and 8 months old.

Weight: I weigh approximately 78 pounds.

More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 22, 2024.

This is Rodeo, an outgoing, friendly fella who would love to meet you! He always ready for a game of fetch and releases toys and balls so you can throw them again. He has a bouncy, excited play style and can play a bit rough with other dogs, so some management during playtime would be beneficial. We recommend he play with dogs of similar size and activity level. Rodeo is strong on leash and can be jumpy, so he will need adopters willing to help him learn better manners. Rodeo will fill your life with laughter, love, and lots of fetch games! He’ll be your loyal companion, your steadfast friend, and your constant source of joy. Recommend a home with kids aged 15 and up.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
