MEET SADIE!!!

Sadie Mae is the smartest dog! She is already crate trained, is housebroken AND knows how to use a doggy door! She walks perfectly on a leash and would love long walks! She knows all her commands, is super well trained, and will listen to every word/command you give. She loves being outside, hiking, and/or playing in the water like streams and lakes. She may end up being a bit of a swimmer! Sadie Mae is the most loyal dog you will ever meet. She enjoys snuggling with her humans on the couch. She is good with cats, chickens and all other animals except for dogs, so she will need to be the only dog in the home. Sadie Mae would also do better in a home without younger children (teens could be fine). So if you are looking for the perfect outdoor companion, Sadie Mae is the girl for you. All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

More about this rescue

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
