My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah
F, 2.5 years

If you or your cat are looking for a new form of feline companionship to reside in your home, Delilah may be your purrfect fit! This beautiful girl came to us from the streets and quite enjoys her indoor life loafing around in everyday safety with cozy spots to window watch in the sun and unlimited treats. Delilah is what we call a wallflower. You can find her in a room with other cats or humans just doing her own thing. She may try to engage with a fellow kitty friend, but isn’t fully fond of humans yet. However, she is just content being in your home occupying her random spaces of contentment. She needs an adopter who understands this and is okay to love her from afar to start at least. Patience will be key to build a bond, but these cases are special and so worth it!

Delilah would be great with other laid back cats who she could find companionship with. Dogs and young children are not preferred for her comfort.

She did test positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), but is overall healthy! It is spread through deep bite wounds, but Delilah CAN live with other kitties, especially with her more laid back demeanor towards them.

Delilah is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV. If interested in giving this unique girl the forever home she deserves, please fill out the adoption application on our website
