Lilac is the sweetest most loving boy! Lilac and his sister, Sunflower Rose, are a dynamic duo. They were born and grew up living next to an apartment complex in Northglenn. These two came to their foster home in January and came a long way with their socialization. They both were very shy at first, Lilac became very friendly. His little heart warmed up pretty quickly once he learned that humans meant food, treats, playtime and pets. He absolutely loves neck scratches and plops on the floor as soon as he gets them. He loves Churu treats, looking out of the window, viciously unrolling rolls of paper towels, watching his foster mom work and exploring new things. He dislikes going to the vet and seeing an empty food bowl. Their foster mom considered adopting them separately, but it became obvious pretty quickly that these two are inseparable. Are you looking for a great duo? These two are for you. Lilac and Sunny were born in the summer 2023. They would do best in the house with an experienced cat owner. They would be ok with older children or no kids, they are good with other cats and dogs.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/
Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.
2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
