Meet Agatha, a charming fluffy calico and a beloved member of The Puffs. Born in 2019 with severe cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), Agatha requires special feeding and care from an experienced CH cat owner who can be home most of the day to provide the dedicated care she needs. Despite her condition, which affects her motor skills and balance, Agatha is as independent and opinionated as any cat.

Agatha has been a viewer favorite, and it's easy to see why - she has a lot to say and loves to communicate with those around her. She gets along well with other able-bodied cats and would thrive in a home where she can be herself. With the right special furniture and a loving, patient owner, Agatha will fill your home with joy and affection. Ready to welcome this fluffy, talkative sweetheart into your life? We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
