My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾DAN🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

🐾 Meet Dan! 🐾

Dan is a playful little furball with a big personality! 😺 He’s often zipping around, chasing pipe cleaners, and darting through tunnels. With tons of energy, he loves to play, but he also has a soft spot for cuddles.

One of Dan's favorite things is curling up in a lap and purring away while getting pets. He’s super affectionate and loves being close to his humans. But watch out! He’s also a bit of a prankster, delighting in teasing and surprising with his playful antics. 🎉

Dan would love to be adopted with his sister Anne, but it’s not required.

** Dan must go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or consider adopting a second kitty with him for half the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb, and toys to play with. Dan requires a family who will provide lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

He does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions, and he is good with gentle children. He is also litter box trained.

If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and mischievous companion, Dan is your guy! 💖🐱

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
