My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly came to us from another rescue in the area. They had rescued a lot of purebred dogs from out west who were used for breeding and asked if we'd take two. Molly was bred and had a terrible life before but now enjoys life to the fullest! She loves doing zoomies in her fosters yard and loves all the other dogs. Her tongue hangs out a bit due to all the extractions she had to have. She does spin sometimes, a lingering affect of living in a cage much of her life and feeling anxious. She is fostered in an all adult home, with dogs and cats. Molly is 8 and weighs 9.8 lb. She loves to be where you are! Looking for a close companion and willing to be patient as she adjusts, then Molly may be the girl for you. Spay, vaccines, microchip provided.

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue was founded by a team of volunteers with many years of experience in pet rescue. With over 20,000 companion animals being euthanized each year in the Midlands of SC, our goal is to save as many as possible from this dreadful fate. Rescue is expensive, so your help is needed in order for us to save lives. Each pet receives prompt medical attention, is spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted into a loving home. Medical care is our main expense. We also must purchase microchips, heartworm and flea preventions, food and many other supplies. We are an ethical group of volunteers who promises to use every penny for the rescue, care and adoption of pets in need. All donations are tax deductible. No Paid Staff!! Click our PAYPAL link below or mail your check to PO Box 4335, Irmo, SC 29063 THANK YOU!!!
