Meet Helen! Helen came to Wags and Whiskers, pretty severely overweight; luckily for her, our vet deemed her healthy enough to start a low calorie diet, so that she can live out the life that she deserves, in comfort and good health. Helen is now on a diet and doing very well, slowly getting down to a proper weight and size. With each day that passes, and each ounce she loses, Helen shows more and more of her loving personality, and is becoming a more active little dog. At around 7 years old, Helen is looking for a home where she isn't expected to entertain children or go on lengthy adventures; Helen is looking for a home where she can be cherished and loved, and be the adorable little Chihuahua she deserves to be able to be. Step 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out an application at wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com and
call to schedule an appointment 530-895-8888

Step 3: APPROVAL, PAYMENT, & PICKUP
Your new family member can be picked up if you're approved and the animal is spayed or neutered. Payment of the adoption fee is required to reserve the pet. Adoption fees vary for each dog, puppy, cat and kitten.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
