FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Della is a sweet Frenchie girl, who came to us with a badly injured eye. She has had surgery to remove the eye, and we would love to place her in a quiet home for her recovery. Gertie has been in the office with the Jelly's Team, and though initially shy is coming out of her shell. She is a lap dog, gentle, and very easy to have around. She does great with the other dogs in the office, and is somewhat submissive.

Gertie is spayed, and update to date on her vaccines.

Adoption process requires an interview with adopter, ad adoption agreement, plus spay/neuter deposit if animal is not spayed/neutered.

More about this shelter

Jelly's Place is a rescue and No-kill shelter founded in 2017 to be an advocate for the lives and dignity of urban animals who are homeless, abandoned, impounded, sick, or injured, by providing responsible care, placement, and community education. Its founder, Julie Bainbridge, has been rescuing and fostering animals since childhood. She has rescued, fostered, and /or raised all kinds of animals, including baby squirrels, raccoons, pigeons, chickens, geese, ducks, skunks (yes- skunks), wild and tropical birds, pigmey goats, mice, snakes, rabbits, dogs, and cats. Some animals are cared for by volunteers in their homes.
Jelly's Place is named in memory of her beloved English Bulldog who crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2016. Jelly's Place is a 501 (3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
Jelly's Place depends on donations, grants, and volunteers to foster and care for animals.
