Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aspen, he is as sweet as can be, and as you can see, as cuddly as cuddly gets! He welcomes everyone, anyone, and anything with the invitation of belly rubs, kisses, and all the adorable ways he loves on everyone! Aspen is such a big baby, though, along with his lovable puppy curiosity, leading him to everyone with a wiggly butt, and wagging tail. Occasionally an attempted leap onto a lap, or the sofa, otherwise, he's just as content at your feet, getting the love he LOVES. We know Aspen will do amazing in just about any home due to his AMAZING disposition. Oh! Did I mention he's crate-trained, and learning his basics so quick!? He's a very smart little pup!
I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable fee of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of sterilization is furnished!
Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
