Meet Gimli! Gimli was surrendered to us due to no fault of his own. He is a super friendly dog who loves cuddling with his person as well as a great adventure. Gimli is a loyal and gentle giant who would make an amazing family dog. Gimli will require some patience regarding men he meets, as he can be very slow to warm up to men. Gimli is a strong puller and due to his time at the shelter has started to exhibit reactivity towards other dogs barking at him. We think a home with a fenced yard would be the best fit for him due to this while he works past his reactivity. He also does great with kids! Gimli is selective with his canine friends, so we will require a dog to dog meet and greet before he goes home. He has also lived with cats in his previous home, but we are unsure how he did with them, so we ask if you have other feline friends at home to practice a slow introduction. Gimli is up to date on his vaccinations and will be microchipped on his adoption day. He is already neutered as well. His adoption fee is sponsored by Citizens State Bank!
