Howdy from Texas, we are a 5-pack of beautiful Shepherd mix puppies, about 5 months old, and we are ready to find forever homes somewhere on the East Coast. It was a rainy day when we were found running down a street in San Antonio along with our mama when a nice lady stopped, opened her car door, and we happily jumped in. We were just babies at the time but months later, here we are, doing great, safe and sound, being vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and having some fun at our foster home.
My name is Ophelia, I’m a girly girl, and I weigh 36 lbs. I have a lovely personality and a very gentle demeanor, sweet yet shy, submissive at first, but you can win my heart with doggy snacks. Once I warm up I'm playful and silly, running and chasing doggy toys, just having fun and enjoying life. I get along great with everyone, humans, dogs, and even a kitty cat who lives with us. I'm well-behaved and already housebroken. I just learned how to use a doggy door and at night when it's closed, I know how to use a potty pad if I need to. All of us are affectionate and smart and catch on to everything very quickly. We are good eaters, growing strong and healthy, learning new things, and looking forward to meeting whoever adopts us. Inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
