My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grey is a charming and incredibly goofy young dog who is overflowing with love and enthusiasm. With his playful and fun-loving personality, Grey still retains many of his puppy mannerisms, making him an absolute delight to be around. He's eager to learn and would benefit from ongoing training in basic things like sit, stay, and lay down.

While Grey may be a bit selective with other dogs, he seems to have a soft spot for female canine companions. His preference for the ladies suggests he could potentially thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention or paired with a compatible female dog.

Above all, Grey is a sweet boy who craves affection and companionship. He simply wants to be loved and cherished by a family who appreciates his playful antics and goofy charm.

Grey would thrive in a home that can match his energy levels and love for outdoor adventures. Long hikes and active outings would be ideal for Grey, allowing him to burn off energy while exploring new sights and smells.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a lovable goofball who promises endless laughter and joy, Grey could be the perfect addition to your family. Contact us today to meet Grey and discover the boundless love and happiness he can bring into your life.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
