Hi, my name is Tasha. I am an 8 week old spayed female English Mastiff / German Shepherd / Newfoundland MIX. My mom is an English Mastiff / Newfoundland Mix and my dad is a German Shepherd. I am up to date on my shots and ready to go home. Please go to our personal website at, h2erescue.org and fill out an application under my profile "I'm Interested". Our adoption fee is $526. This is used to cover vet care, vaccinations, food etc. We are a rescue group, not a shelter and we foster these animals at our home. Since we are a rescue, we can not guarantee the size or the breed of the dog. After approval, we will meet you at our Adoption Center. We may have an adoption event on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Lawrenceville Pet Supply at 5152 Butler St. Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Otherwise you will be coming to 3616 Williams Lake Rd, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 our home base. PLEASE CONTACT US NOT THE PET STORE. 1.
Submit Application

Go to h2erescue.org and visit the puppy page. Click on the "I'm interested" button. This takes you to an application page for that puppy.

2.
Interview

If your application is approved one of our adoption counselors will reach out for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

If the interview is good, we will schedule a time for you to meet the puppy.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

When you meet your puppy, we will go over the health record and food. We answer any questions and fill out a short contract.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Please go to h2erescue.org and under the profile of the puppy you are interested in, click the I am interested button. That takes you to a short application. If selected we will contact you for a final interview. If approved we schedule a time for you to meet your new friend. At the meeting we go over the health record for the pet and any questions on temperament. We then have a short contract to sign promising to care for the pet and have them altered when old enough.

More about this rescue

From Heaven to Earth is a 501c3 rescue that wants to save as many adoptable puppies as possible, proactively. Most of their puppies come from Amish, Farmers, and other families that have not gotten their pets spay/neutered. Many people still hold to the idea that spay/neuter takes the "work" out of the dog, others avoid it for religious reasons and some don't have or will not spend the money. The Rescue also gets a small percentage of their dogs from "Puppy Mills". The Humane Societies in the area are not large enough to handle the volume of dogs. From Heaven to Earth's goal is to find these puppies before they go to the pounds and other facilities, or before they are "Taken Care Of" in other ways. In doing this, they hope to alleviate the pressure on the Humane Societies and Pounds as well as help spread the word on Spay/Neuter. Often they are able to convince people to get the mother spayed which the Rescue pays for with money generated from their adoption fees.
