If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My husband has had Monster for 18 years, since he was a puppy. Sadly, my husband passed away recently. I am unable to give Monster the care he needs due to my own health issues. Monster is a very senior dog, and is almost completely deaf, so he needs close care (frequent short walks and of course love). Despite his age, he still has a surprising amount of energy and personality. He absolutely loves everybody. He may not do well with very young children, but he is regularly around kids ages 9 and up and he loves them. He needs someone who can give him the care he needs in these last years of his life. I say years because I fully expect this dog to live another 5 years, he is pretty healthy overall.
