My name is Taco! I am a 6 year old, chill, mixed breed guy and I weigh about 50 lbs! I have quite the past. You see, I was living in Afghanistan my whole life until recently. My human friends there wanted a better life for me, so they were able to fly me and a bunch of other dogs on a charter flight to the US! I am so happy I was one of those dogs able to make that flight, and am really getting the hang of life here in the US. The only thing missing now is a forever family of my own!

I am so happy to be here! I like the kids in my foster home and, with slow intros, I have assimilated into the pack of resident dogs. I am shy but sweet with new human friends and I'm making progress with training. I'm learning basic commands, I'm crate trained, and I am potty trained. I walk well on a leash and I'm easily redirected when I spot a small animal to chase :) I love to be around humans and I can't get enough of soft blankets and couch snoozles. If you have food, I would like to be involved, always. I think I will do well in any family as long as they allow me time to adjust! I'm a sweet, loyal, chill pup and I am just happy to soak up attention. My soulful eyes will lure you in and my gentle demeanor will have you hooked, I promise. I'll be a steadfast companion for the rest of my days! Please give me the chance to live my dream of having a forever home here in the US!

Submit Application

Submit Adoption Application on our website at: www.tinyntallrescue.com/adoption-application

Interview

Our application team volunteers will conduct phone interviews with you the applicant and your veterinarian.

3.
Approve Application

Once all interviews are completed, and there are no issues you will receive your approval email!

4.
Interview

The foster home will review your application & information to see if you could be a potential match, and will contact if your a match

5.
Interview

If you & the foster home feel it could be a match, you & the foster will set up a day & time for the meet and greet for you and the dog!

6.
Meet the Pet

All family & resident dogs MUST attend the meet & greet. If all agree that it's the right home, you will make it official that day!

7.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once the adoption contract is signed, and the adoption fee is paid, you will take your new adopted dog home with you that day

Tiny N Tall Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non for profit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to providing temporary shelter, veterinary care and behavioral support for small and giant breed dogs as they transition into carefully selected homes. We rescue Tiny breeds under 25 pounds and Giant Breeds. Our rescue is all foster based and we rely solely on donations.
