My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Noah & Lacey are almost 11 years old, a bonded pair of senior, declawed cats. Noah is gray/white, while Lacey is the brown tabby. They are both very sweet, great litter box habits and quiet, well mannered cats.

Noah is definitely the more outgoing of the two, instantly friendly and snuggly. Noah loves a softy blanket on the couch. He will curl up and lay for hours. If you sit on the couch he is up and yelling at you for love.

Lacey likes people, but also like to just do her own thing. They just need someone to provide a quiet home for them where they can relax and be loved. Both are large cats, 12-14 pounds. They each have a $100 adoption fee.
They do well with other cats, dogs and calm kids!

The pair was surrendered through no fault of their own (adopters had a dog that was very allergic to them); they had originally come to us in 2024 when their owner passed away.

All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized.

If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees, we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with ZERO paid workers or admins.

Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Go meet their pets

We are currently by appointment only. We hope to soon have a cat cafe in the area and host adoption events!

More about this rescue

We are a central Ohio rescue, with the hopes of rehoming animals in need, helping those with medical needs that would otherwise be euthanized, and supporting local TNR efforts to reduce the numbers of unwanted/homeless animals being born.
