Sadly, our family is splitting up due to divorce and we would like to rehome our lovely guy, Wilford. He is a big boy—we adopted him that way. It seems to be a mix of Maine coon and a love of eating.
Wilfie is an incredibly gentle cat. He is shy, but not the kind of cat who hides. He really just wants to loaf around. He also enjoys coming out to the yard with his humans and lying in the grass.
Wilford needs a quiet home with a loving, responsible cat owner. He does have occasional accidents in his bed—we aren’t sure why. There are other cats here and the litter may become too full for him. Our children have also reached busy and noisy ages, which I think stresses him out. Please don’t hold this against this wonderful boy :(
He also needs someone who will brush his long hair to keep it from tangling, and give him baths every few weeks to keep him fresh.
We adopted Wilfie from a shelter in DC in 2019. He is also internet famous—google “Wilford cat DC” :)
