Hi there! My name is Shogun, and I'm a 2-year-old male Collie mix with a stunning coat and an even more amazing personality. I'm an outgoing and affectionate guy who absolutely adores people. My happiest moments are when I'm snuggled up close, soaking up all the pets and love I can get. I'm also house trained and great on long walks-there's nothing I enjoy more than exploring the world with my favorite humans. While I'm okay with other dogs, what I really crave is the companionship of people who will cherish me as much as I cherish them. Don't let the picture worry you, I had a hot spot that was treated and to do that they needed to shave my cheek to get to it and let it get air. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and handsome companion, I'm your guy. Please visit www.northwoodshumanesociety.org, head to the adoptable animals page, scroll down, and fill out the dog adoption form. Once we receive your form, a Canine Team Member will reach out to schedule a time for you to meet me. I can't wait to find my forever home and share my love with you!

NHS works to place animals in good, loving homes. Potential families must complete a pre-adoption application. References are required and checked. There may be a 24 to 48 hour waiting period before adoption is finalized. All responsible adults in the family must be in agreement. The goal of NHS is for each adoption to be permanent.
