My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leo

In the heart of the bustling city, amidst the symphony of car horns and the chatter of pedestrians, there lies a hidden gem of pure wonder—a tiny, fluffball of energy named Leo. This kitten, barely the size of a coffee mug, has fur as sleek and silver as moonlight on water. His eyes reflect a world of curiosity and mischief.

Leo doesn’t just walk; he prowls through his domain with the grace of a miniature panther. His tail flicks with the precision of a conductor's baton, orchestrating his every move. He leaps with the prowess of an acrobat, defying gravity as he bounds from couch to table, a blur of fur and excitement.

Every rustle, every shadow, is a grand adventure for Leo. He tackles toy mice with the ferocity of a jungle predator, and his purrs, a gentle rumble, could soothe the most turbulent of hearts. When Leo curls up, his tiny paws tucked under his chin, it’s as if the entire world pauses to marvel at this pocket-sized miracle.

Leo is not just a kitten; he’s a whirlwind of joy, a spark of life that transforms the mundane into the magical. In his presence, every moment becomes a story waiting to be told, and every day, an exciting chapter in the grand tale of Leo the kitten. He is looking for his forever family to be a part of his adventure.
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport

We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
