My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Maddy. I am between 8 to 9 years old female spayed salt and pepper schnauzer. I was found as a stray running the streets with my hair all matted (hence my name). I had to get an ugly military cut but I will be beautiful once my natural curls come back. I just received a full dental cleaning and I am in perfect shape. My bloodwork came back normal too!

I am extremely sweet, potty trained, and know basic commands like sit and go to bed. I love to cuddle on top of you and be with my humans at all times. I don’t bark unless I am under stressful situations. I have a loud high pitch bark that lets everyone know that I am not happy.

I am looking for a forever home where my parents are retired and can spend time with me or someone who works from home and is willing to hang out with me during the day.

I am good with all humans, children included, and with other dogs I like to play with my foster brother and play fetch with my toys. I have not met a cat yet, but my foster Mom thinks I would be good with them since I have a very submissive disposition. I would love a back yard and preferably other dogs to play with.

I need peace and quiet to live my best senior years. If kids visit sometimes that’s okay because I have been good with them in the past.

I am sure I will make a family very happy,

Sincerely

Maddy the Miniature Schnauzer

More about this rescue

Broward County School Teachers who created this 501c3 non-profit organization in 2012, that have a deep love for animals and want to make a difference by keeping dogs and cats safe! We adopt dogs of all sizes and breeds. We provide assistance to families experiencing financial hardship that truly love their dog or cat but cannot afford to keep them due to a financial crisis and avoid them from having to surrender their pet to a high kill animal shelter. We provide foster homes to dogs and cats and help find them loving furever homes.
