My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Doug! He is estimated to be between 4 and 6 years old. Doug was found as a stray and was never reclaimed. He has fit in well with his foster family, finding friendship with another Brave foster, Growlithe. If you're looking to adopt two big dogs, Growlithe and Doug have become best friends!

Doug is a really sweet boy. He loves to snuggle, but he's also up for playtime. Given his sweet disposition, we think he would do well with children. He hasn't lived with cats, but he has shown curiosity towards the cats in his neighborhood.

If you're looking for a chill, trained, adult dog, Doug is your guy!

Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). More about this rescue

We are an entirely foster-based rescue in Lincoln, Nebraska. Because we do not have a physical shelter location, our animals are placed directly into foster homes where they immediately begin learning how to be outstanding companion animals.
