Incontinent

Tulip (Felix) came into our care in January 2, 2024 as a 4 week old kitten with her sister Poppy. At that time, she had no use of her hind legs and dragged them behind her. Nothing was going to slow her down! As she grew, her legs got stronger and she now can walk, run and play! She does have weakness in her back end and she is incontinent. She will need an experienced, committed adopter that understands her needs. She will need help and support with hygiene care. The Humane Society of Bay County is a volunteer organization. Monthly board meetings are open to the public and held the third Thursday of every month at 1607 Marquette Ave, Bay City at 6:30 pm

The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as the animal advocate in our community. Your support continues to be our inspiration as we look forward to a future of improved welfare for all animals.

The Humane Society is a separate entity from Bay County Animal Control; however, the Humane Society is an advocate for shelter adoptions, and was a source of significant funding for building the Bay County Animal Control facility.
