Mack is a handsome, loyal, energetic, and protective, eight-year-old, 20-pound, male Schnauzer/Min Pin-mix looking for a loving guardian.
His loyalty comes at a price, because he’s protective of those he loves. He’ll bark and jump up if his human hugs or kisses someone, and will nip if someone takes away something away that he has his eye on. So, he’s best with an adult or two without children in the home.
He would be happy on his own, or with a companionable dog. Even though he barks at dogs while out on walks in the home he enjoys the companionship and does well one on one. He’s just not a dog park dog or a doggie daycare dog.
Mack loves to run; he’s quite the athlete.
He is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $175 benefits the rescued dogs of Friends of Petraits. To meet and possibly adopt Mack, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet him by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
