My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I need to rehome my mom’s sweet dog, Toetoe. He’s 8 years young and weighs 10lbs. My mother rescued him from a kill shelter back in November 2023. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and I've been his sole caretaker since.
Toetoe is very mellow and only barks when someone knocks on the door. He’s piddle pad trained but prefers to pee outside, although he can have an accident from time to time. Balancing his care with my mom’s has been challenging.
Toetoe loves being in the same room as you and enjoys sleeping under the covers. We don’t have kids, but he seems indifferent when children pass by during walks. He’s good with other dogs, though he sometimes tries to bully smaller dogs, but it’s all talk.Toetoe is up to date on all his shots, and his records will be provided. I will be extremely picky about who takes him, and I'm in no rush. I believe he was brought to my mom during her time of need for companionship. In return, I want him to have a forever home!
