Additional adoption info

General Information
All our adoptive dogs are given a health exam, are spayed or neutered, fecal tested or dewormed and HW tested, given monthly flea/tick preventive and are microchipped, UTD on core and/or rabies vaccinations suitable for their age at the time. Any other medical needs will also be addressed as needed.

An application must be completely filled out, sent back to us for review and then one of the rescue volunteers will call you for a phone interview and check your references. After that, we may schedule a meet and greet with the foster family who has the dog in their care.

This does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the animal as we try to match our adopters with the right animal companion for their home based on both the potential pet parent and pet's energy level, personality, background needs, and pet parent's experience.

If the application is approved, meet and greet works out, you will need to read over our contract. Once both parties have discussed the contract and all questions have been answered, a home safety visit is the next step. If everything is good and all are in agreement, then the contract can be signed and the adoption process is completed.

Puppies: $350 and up
Adults: $300 and up
Senior special needs: $100 and up

*Medical costs go up for us depending if the animal is in heat, problems during surgery, teeth extraction/surgery or if there are more health issues.

**This amount does not include all the other items associated with the rescued animal's needs like collars, name tags, leashes, beds, toys, food and treats, etc...

We are NOT a shelter. We are a foster based program. You can contact us by emailing us at casadeloveanimalrescue@gmail.com. Please allow for 72 hours to return calls and messages.

Visitations arranged according to foster family's availability.

More about this rescue

Our rescue primarily saves the seniors and underdogs that get overlooked and then euthanized in the shelters. On occasion we also rescue pups, adolescent and adult dogs.

Our vision is to enlighten our communities in responsible pet guardianship and animal care by collaborating with our community groups and business affiliates, county organizations and through social media. We will strive to decrease the overpopulation of unwanted pets through spaying/ neutering and we will advocate endlessly to change the public's ignorant perception of animals to one of compassion so that no animal has to endure pain and suffering due to neglect or abuse and homelessness.

Our values: Animals are not disposable. They are to be treasured, respected, and loved as living - breathing -sentient beings in our world. We do not discriminate against an animal's special disabilities, breed, or age. One day our hope is that there will be no more dogs being killed in our shelters and no more dogs being abused and neglected.
