My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This is a courtesy listing for a dog available through Bichon Rescue Brigade.*

Meet Della!

Della (formerly Bella) is a West Highland Terrier that was rescued from SEACCA Shelter on June 4, 2024, the day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She had been surrendered to the shelter in terrible condition, and her fur was matted and itchy. Della was treated for fleas, received medicated baths, and is on medication. All of this has helped tremendously, and her coat is growing in healthy and returning to its natural white color. Della is 8 years old and weighs 18 lbs.

Della is looking for an experienced, adult-only, foster or forever home where she can decompress. She would prefer to be an only pup. Della is crate and leash trained. She loves her toys and loves to play ball, as you can see in her videos!

Della is up-to-date on vaccines. She will be spayed by Bichon Rescue Brigade prior to adoption.

To learn more about Della or to express interest in fostering (anywhere in SoCal) or adopting her, please send an email to: info@BichonRescueBrigade.org
