Mindy and Mork came to rescue together and at first we feared that they were a bonded pair. We've done several test separations and we now believe that they are not. Mindy, however, does not thrive unless she has another companion dog - not necessarily Mork, just someone else to keep her company. Mindy is initially shy but warms up quickly to seek attention of people. If you are looking for a second dog, Mindy may be the perfect match for you. She weighs about 30 lbs.
Mindy got to go to a foster home for a little while during Tropical Storm Debby, and here's what her storm foster had to say:
I cannot express how much of a cuddle bug Mindy is! Shes not very fond of men, she tolerates kids, and she tolerates my dogs for the most part lol.
I have not sat down alone or even gone into another room alone since shes been here lol. She would be the PERFECT companion for a calm household. Especially if they are home a lot.
**Mindy does well with other dogs at the shelter and hates to be alone, so having a home with another dog will be fine especially if her family will be gone all day long.**
