Meet Marvel, the loving calico!

Miss Marvel has beautiful eyes and gorgeous, long, silky, calico fur, and her love language is brushing and pets. She comes readily to people to get treats, follows them to the kitchen to remind them of breakfast, but what she loves more than anything else is pets around the ears and a good brushing down her back to the tip of her tail. When she's in the mood, she melts under the brush like a pat of butter on a hot pan. When things feel too much, she gives a little tap with a paw to say enough. Miss Marvel was a caring and dedicated mom to 4 kittens, despite being a young cat herself. Now, she is ready to find her forever home and enjoy the perks of being adored by humans.

Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
