Colada is a little baby girl of just 2 months old that is eager to get on with her life in a happy home. She came to us with her littermates from our Newark facility after the babies were found as strays. Little Colada doesn't seem to have much experience with people just yet, but she's happy to meet new friends and get your attention. She tends to be a little skittish initially and would do best having one of her siblings in her new home, or a feline friend that she can lean on, and get comfort and confidence from. She's already getting more and more outgoing and curious every day, and she's going to blossom into such a bubbly and happy cat if you give her the chance! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#73506 6/18/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
