Rosie's finder said she is going to be a good dog. She think she is already a good dog even though she is still a puppy. She was found as a stray and impressed her finder by riding well in his car, walking well on a leash, and getting along with his two dogs. At the shelter she is interested in the other dogs and isn't bothered if they bark at her. She is easygoing, curious, cooperative, and easy to handle. She loves to jump up to get close. She's a bit clumsy. She weighs 32 pounds and likes being on a lap to be petted. She is affectionate and gives kisses whether you want them or not. She loves treats and is determined to dig them out of any pocket where they may be hidden. At her foster home there were multiple dogs in the home who she enjoyed playing with but she did seem to play a little rough and also was aggressive with treats/food. Separate feedings and snacks would be best around other dogs. She was crate trained at her foster home and is still working on being house broken. She will go to the door to let you know she needs to go out but please be patient while she adjusts to a new environment. She was around toddlers and did well but is very energetic so a household with mature kids are recommended. Please offer sweet, happy, friendly Rosie the home and family she deserves. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.
