Meet Viola, the fearless leader! Viola is one of four very sweet kittens who is looking for her forever home!

Viola acts like the big sister of the litter, and can be seen practicing cat skills like pouncing and wrestling with her siblings followed by engaging in a long cuddle. Viola loves to explore her surroundings and is always quick to come say hello at the door. Like all of her siblings, she loves to curl up on a warm lap and have a long nap after all her adventures.

Viola must adopt with any sibling or her mother, Juliet, or as a buddy cat.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
