Penny is an owner surrender. The lady got married and is now expecting and didn't want her working dog anymore.

Penny has been used as a balance dog, so she knows the protocol.

She will be placed in a home where she is the only dog because like many dogs out there, she was raised without dogs, cats or children, and doesn't get along with them now.

Penny's is protective of her person, and will keep others away, this must be monitored. She doesn't do anything out of the way with humans, but dogs are another matter.

She will only be placed where there are no other pets, as she is the boss, and causes trouble with other dogs.

We recommend further training with her in her new home, in addition to a handler who understands retired working dogs.

Penny is extremely loving, beautiful, and blows coat twice a year with a vengeance.

Penny loves outings, but we will provide a muzzle to keep her out of trouble with people who won't listen to you.

Penny says she is ready to stop this vacation now and settle in with her forever person.
