My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tori aka Tornado is looking for their forever home!

Hi! My name is Tori and I am a gentle tornado of love and cuddles! I love playing with other dogs and love everyone that I meet! One of my favorite things to do is play with toys! I also love taking them on all my walkies! I am also great in the crate and haven't had any accidents in my foster home!! My foster has even said that I'm, "Probably the sweetest dog on the planet".

WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: While Tori spun into my life, she's anything but a tornado unless you're talking about the speed at which tail wags! Tori is a medium energy girl who loves to play but is also happy with couch cuddles. She has the adorable habit of carrying a stuffy in her mouth during walks.

Tori is also the happiest girl and clearly once had a home as she is completely potty trained without even an accident in her adjustment period from shelter life. She goes in her crate on her own (for a treat, of course - she's no dumbie!). Speaking of treats, she's super gentle when taking them from your hand.

Tori has yet to meet a human she doesn't love. She has done well meeting strangers, kids, and new humans in the home. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Currently, Tori does jump when excited, which we are working on! Can't blame a girl trying to catch up on all the human affection!

So far, Tori has done awesome interacting with other dogs at adoption events. As far as doggy playmates, she likes rough and tumble play and would do best with dogs with a similar play style and likely, close to her in age.

A house ready girl, Tori would love to spin her way into your life and heart! She's an incredible pup who deserves an equally incredible home! Could that be you??

More about this rescue

Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
