Penny is an active persons dream— she is an avid soccer player, runner, hiker, swimmer, walker.
She is loose leash and follows commands and is very aware of her surroundings, especially leery of
men in hats with sunglasses and people who may have questionable intentions. The perfect dog for a single lady who likes to get out and go but wants some extra protection at her side. She is friendly and happy but requires proper introductions for optimal response. Nothing wrong with that— just not a dog for a party, big social places, or dog parks. She gives amazing heartfelt hugs and knows a few tricks she is happy to show off for a treat. She looooooves the water, plays in her kiddy pool year round after a good game after kickball/soccer always returning the ball to you. Fenced yard required — she loves the outdoors and enjoys playtime in it. She is dog selective, doesnt like to be rushed in her face but does ok with low key dogs. She is an amazing athlete, loves a car ride and an adventure and a good workout, giving you a big smile with hugs and kisses to thank you for the attention paid to her.
Penny lives in a large and busy foster home where she is kept separate due to the high energy level within the big pack. She deserves her own home, time beside her person/family, and being included in daily activity… she is a true gem that will give you her all — preferably in a more calm setting.
