These cool summer mornings have put an extra pep in Tiramisu’s step. Tiramisu is a young mixed breed boy that enjoys going outside to stretch his legs on the walking trails and if you want to throw in some butt scratches/shoulder rubs that works too. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines and waiting for that special family who will play and give him lots of exercise, is this you? If you would like meet with him the shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule an appointment. Lobby hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 with Saturday by appointment.

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
