My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sky is a chatty and social gal. She purrs the moment you walk in the room and is eager to be by your side. The moment you walk into the room, she will look at you and immediately start talking. She is fostered with her 4 siblings, other foster cats, and 2 dogs.

She'll need to get adopted with a litter mate (Sally, skippy, space, or sprinkles) or to be adopted into a home with an existing playful feline.

Approximate DOB: April 2024

Foster Home Location: Madison

Consider adopting 2 kittens! There are many benefits including:

- One kitten can become lonely and bored

- Two kittens will keep each other busy

- Having two kittens is very entertaining!

- You’ll have fewer behavioral issues with two kittens

- You’ll save TWO lives instead of just one

- Adoption fee is discounted for the 2nd kitten

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website:    https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff

Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home.

Our adoption fees:

Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225)

Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100)

Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60)

All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Community Cat is a nonprofit cat rescue and advocacy group based in Whitewater, Wisconsin. No cat left behind! We focus on cats who are at high risk of euthanasia elsewhere and are considered less adoptable: seniors, disabled, hospice, and special needs. We have saved over 1,700 cats since we were founded in 2009!

We are completely foster home based and utilize those foster homes to rescue and rehabilitate cats that are most at risk for euthanasia. Our foster homes care for these cats as if they were their very own, so they know them very well and we are able to find the best match for potential adopters.
