My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available.

Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups.   Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete.

Please only send inquires to the email in this bio all others will not be answered. Please read the bio before sending questions - we answer all we know about the dog here.

Hey there, future bestie seekers! I'm Ursa – or Ursa Jane, Ursa Belle, Ursa Leena – basically, the pup with a multitude of nicknames, but I'll respond to any!

At 5 years young, I'm a Shepherd Labrador mix with a birthday on July 18, 20023 (Oops, typo alert! Let's just say I'm timeless!). Now, let me tell you about the adventure that is ME!

I'm the car ride enthusiast who'll challenge you to a race for a trip to the park, the Vet, or anywhere you fancy.  Fetch wasn't in my playbook, but my foster dad's teaching me the ropes – patience is the key, folks! I used to be a bit reserved, but throw in a welcoming German shepherd, and voilà, I'm a couch-surfing, mailman-watching expert.

Fully housebroken – no, I don't break anything. I'm a tidy pup who loves the yard, especially for epic chase games around the tree with my foster brother.  And let's talk cookie time – if I hear that treat bag crinkle, consider me front and center, ready to show off my proper sits and adorable paw shakes.

Did I mention I've mastered the art of canoeing? Passed the "silly test," got on the water, and resisted the urge to walk on it. Such a bummer!

Confidence may not be my middle name, but with the right doggy introduction, I'm your loyal sidekick. A little bark, a bit of protective flair – I'm the watchdog extraordinaire. Need a friend? Scratch my back, and we're golden. Squirrels? I chase 'em. Cats? Yet to be determined!

Energy? Check! Health? All good! Tricks? Sit, lay down, shake, and my signature heel move that involves a funny little circle. I'm a funny dog, what can I say?

Ready for a fur-tastic adventure with yours truly? Contact the amazing folks at Heidi's Legacy Rescue Network, and let's make it happen!

Yours,
Ursa

Ursa's adoption fee is $400 - obedience training required after adoption also required is a fully enclosed fenced in back or front yard

Obedience training is also required for all our pups. Please email us the completion certificate.
