My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Despite his tough start in life, JACK is a super social guy. He is personable, affectionate and acts like a goofy puppy. He isn't shy when meeting new people and comes running when his foster mom gets home, ensuring he is the first to get hugs! JACK has no problem sleeping through the night after a long day of play with his foster roommates and his sisters. JACK is potty trained and crate trained.

JACK, his sisters and his momma came from a very bad situation. He was suffering from severe malnutrition due to an infestation of worms, two kinds of mange and Giardia. With a whole lot of TLC from his foster mom and persistence, JACK is ready to take on the world and is hoping you can be his sidekick!

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
