URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- New Bern, NC

Zoom is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 75 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Zoom is good with older children! He has shown some aggression towards strangers. He hasn’t been tested around cats, young children, or other dogs. However, he does well with the other dogs in the home!

Zoom has had 2 seizures (November 2023 and February 2024), but the veterinarians think his is low-risk and doesn’t need medicine for this. Zoom has anxiety and needs a new home where the owners aren’t gone for long periods of time. He needs training to learn not to jump up and try to nip visitors. He also growled at the owner when he thought she was going to take his food or treats. The owner is surrendering him because of personal health issues. He needs to go by 7/7!
