Unfortunately, I am moving to California and feel it’s in Duke’s best interest to find him a new home local to the New York area. He is 14 years old, and, while generally in good health for his age, is definitely starting to slow down a lot. He has been with my family since we adopted him in Chicago at just over a year old, and with me specifically for all but about 2 years of that time. He has live in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, so he is more well-traveled than many people! He is a gentle, low energy but attention-wanting dog who sleeps most of the day. Living in a Brooklyn apartment, he gets three 20ish minute slow-paced walks daily plus a pre-bedtime bathroom break, but could easily do with dropping that number to two. He has never bitten or even shown aggression towards anyone, and has never been an instigator of trouble at a dog park.
