My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CAMO came to the rescue after a Good Samaritan reached out and asked for help. She was being inundated with dogs being dumped in her area and was doing the best she could for care for all of them, but her attention needed to shift to her ailing husband.

CAMOis 3 years old and just a happy, fun-loving guy! He loves to play and adores his toys. He is potty-trained and non-destructive in his foster mom's home. He even snoozes the night away without making a peep!

CAMO is great with other dogs and has done well on his trips to the vet too. He's still learning what a leash is all about, but we're sure this smart boy will continue to thrive and learn, especially when given all the love he deserves!

CAMO wants a family of his own! Could that family be yours?

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
