Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Abby is playful with her littermates Cow, Dot, Jack and Tabby. She gets along with cat-friendly dogs. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

· To assist Jackson County Animal Shelter with funds, food, supplies, shelter improvements, fostering and volunteerism.
· To assist Jackson County Animal Shelter in securing good, reliable adoptive families for animals through social networking, transport to other states and local adoption events.
· To educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter laws, animal protection laws, and pet owner responsibility.
